Curriculum: The North American Fourth Edition Cambridge Latin Course Unit 1
Georgia Performance Standards provided on additional handout.
Materials: 2-inch binder, 3-ring notebook with 6 dividers, paper and pencil.
Optional and highly suggested: Latin/English dictionary
Class Rules and policies:
No food or drink-water is acceptable.
Bring materials to class daily.
Keep your head off the desk and your attention on Latin.
Be respectful of others.
You are not allowed to go behind the teacher desk or leave the room without permission.
Obey ALL school rules.
Cell phones: if I see it or hear it in my room, it will be confiscated.
ID’s worn during the day at all times.
NO HATS are to be warn in the school building.
Tutoring before or after school if needed- please make an appointment with me.
Grading system:
Summative Assessments (Tests) will be given after every unit or chapter. Within the chapter, there will be Formative Assessments (quizzes, daily participation grades, homework grades and project grades). There will be a Final Exam.
35% Summative
45% Formative
20% Final
